As I descended, the weather continued to improve and the sun reappeared. I stopped to have lunch here at the bottom of the bowl below the ridge. The clouds were now at the same elevation that I was, shifting and blowing around me, and it was fun to watch them swirl and play while I rested. I was reluctant to leave, but I knew had a few hours of hiking ahead of me to get back down, and I did not want to get rained on (I did get a little wet near the end, but not enough to get soaked). |
